These strawberry dessert recipes were made in my home kitchen using fresh, whole, unprocessed ingredients. They're so delicious I had to share them with you!
Strawberry Dessert Recipe: Strawberry Date Ice Cream:
Ingredients:
You will need:
10 fresh strawberries
4 pitted soft medjool dates
4 frozen bananas* (Simply peel the bananas and pop them in your freezer before you go to bed at night. When you wake up, they'll be ready for you).
Serves 1 large portion or 2 small portions.
*For maximum flavor, make sure your bananas are fully ripe before you freeze them! Never use unripe bananas in your recipes. They should have plenty of brown spots, like this:

Directions:
1) Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer about 45 minutes before preparation, in order to slightly soften them.
2) Place the fresh strawberries and dates into your Vitamix or other good blender and blend until smooth. DO NOT ADD WATER!!!
3) Add the frozen bananas and blend until smooth. You may have to stop the blender a couple of times and stir the mixture if it becomes stuck in the blades.
Once it reaches a very creamy and smooth consistency, it's ready to be eaten immediately. Enjoy!

This is such a gooey thick frozen treat that I like to have it after dinner in place of traditional sugary desserts like cakes and pies.
If you really wanna tantalize your taste buds with this strawberry dessert recipe, add either 1/2 cup of coconut water or 2 tbsp of shredded unsweetened coconut. YUMMY!
Do you have a powerful blender?
If you want to easy to make dessert recipes and other delicious healthy recipes like my fruit smoothies, salad dressings and sauces a part of your everyday diet, then you're going to want to invest in a REAL BLENDER!!!
I cannot more highly recommend the Vita-mix blender. It's an investment of money, but I can honestly say it's worth every penny. Finally giving up those cheap blenders and getting a Vita-mix professional blender was, for me, like getting out of a twenty year old pickup truck and sliding behind the wheel of a BMW! One of the best decisions I've ever made. |
