My mango smoothie recipe uses only luscious tropical fruits to create a thick & creamy, satisfying treat! All my healthy smoothie recipes are super good for you. You can dazzle your taste buds while nourishing your body at the same time. How cool is that?

Mango smoothie recipe: How to make my Tropical Mango Smoothie:

Mango smoothie recipe: Ingredients:

You will need:

1 ripe mango, skin removed, roughly chopped

2 cups papaya, skin removed, cut into bite size pieces

1 ripe avocado, skin removed, cut into bite size pieces (avocado should indent slightly when you press into it with your thumb)

1/2 cup water

Serves 1.

*To make the smoothie cold, try preparing the mango and papaya the night before. Store them in a container in your refrigerator until you're ready to make the smoothie.

What does papaya look like?

Mango smoothie recipe

A ripe papaya will be almost completely yellow on the outside. If it's still mostly or all green, it's not ripe yet!

First, cut the papaya in half, length wise, and then scoop out the black seeds (do not eat them).

Using a large kitchen cutting knife, cut the papaya into slices, and then cut away the skin. Keep cutting the fruit until it is in bite-size pieces.

Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until very smooth and creamy. There should be no chunks! It's ready to be served immediately.

This smoothie absolutely delights children (who are always attracted to colorful foods!) and would be a perfect easy breakfast or afternoon snack for them, in place of what they would normally be eating. See how quickly they forget potato chips and ice cream!
