Mango dessert recipes are about as sweet and flavorful as they come. My Fat Free Mango Ice Cream is a low fat dessert recipe that will make you drool!

Mango dessert recipes

Creating simple dessert recipes is one of my favorite things to do in the kitchen.

I've been a healthy eater with a sweet tooth for a long time, and there's no way I could live without my secret stash of healthy and simple dessert recipes!

This mango dessert recipe is special because not only is it fat free, it's also sugar-free, gluten-free and dairy-free. You don't need junky, fatty ingredients to make a delicious dessert!

In fact, I've got plenty of healthy and easy to make dessert recipes up my sleeve, like this Guilt Free Chocolate Mousse Parfait:

Mango dessert recipes are designed to showcase the natural succulent nectar of the mango fruit, and should therefore be as simple as possible.

Mango dessert recipes: How to make Mango Ice Cream:

You will need:

1 fresh mango, with skin removed and cut into chunks

4 frozen bananas* (Simply peel the bananas and pop them in your freezer before you go to bed at night. When you wake up, they'll be ready for you).

*For maximum flavor, make sure your bananas are fully ripe before you freeze them! Never use unripe bananas in your recipes. They should have plenty of brown spots, like this:

Ripe banana

Directions:

1) Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer about 45 minutes before preparation, in order to slightly soften them.

2) Place the mango chunks into your high-speed blender and blend until smooth. DO NOT ADD WATER!!!

3) Add the frozen bananas and blend until smooth. You may have to stop the blender a couple of times and stir the mixture if it becomes stuck in the blades. Stop blending once it reaches a creamy and smooth consistency.

Ready to eat immediately!

Suggested uses:

This low fat dessert recipe is so good for you, it can be enjoyed any time of day, including breakfast! This is a quick and easy treat you can whip up in minutes (if you're like me, you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen).

TIP: If you really wanna indulge your sweet tooth, add 3 pitted and chopped medjool dates to this recipe. Add them to your high speed blender along with the frozen bananas and blend until very smooth and creamy.

If you want easy to make dessert recipes with the consistency of whipped air, then I cannot more highly recommend the Vita-mix blender. It's an investment of money, but I can honestly say it's worth every penny. Finally giving up those cheap blenders and getting a Vita-mix professional blender was, for me, like getting out of a twenty year old pickup truck and sliding behind the wheel of a BMW! One of the best decisions I've ever made.
