2 room temperature ripe bananas*
2 frozen bananas (simply peel and stick in your freezer before you go to bed at night. In the morning, voila! Make sure the bananas are fully ripened with lots of brown spots before you freeze them)
2 raw, organic, free-range egg yolks
*Are your bananas ripe? They're ripe when they have plenty of brown spots. They should look this:

Eating fruit only when it's ripe is super important for us healthy eaters because only then are the flavors and the vitamins "unlocked." Remember: eating unripe fruit = indigestion + gas + bland flavor!
Directions:
1) Place the egg yolks and the room-temperature bananas in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. DO NOT ADD WATER!!!
2) Add the frozen bananas and blend until VERY smooth.
That's it! Pour into a nice tall glass, pop in a straw, and enjoy!

This smoothie is so luscious and creamy - it's like a combination of custard, pudding and egg nog, but without any of the unhealthy ingredients or added sugars. You just don't get easier and healthier than this!

TIP: To make it extra tasty, add a tsp of cinnamon and blend it with the smoothie! |
