The only equipment you will need is a good blender. Anyone can do this and that includes you!
I believe in eating good foods that are wholesome, nourishing and unprocessed. Healthy eating means learning to love foods that love you back!

You will need:
1/4 cup raw cacao powder* or unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp raw organic honey
1/4 cup water
4 frozen bananas* (Simply peel the bananas and pop them in your freezer before you go to bed at night. When you wake up, they'll be ready for you).
*For maximum flavor, make sure your bananas are fully ripe before you freeze them! Never use unripe bananas in your recipes. They should have plenty of brown spots, like this:
Raw cacao is considered a "superfood." It's unsweetened, unprocessed, unrefined chocolate. It's the real thing! You can buy it at many grocery stores, including Whole Foods. This is what it looks like:
Directions for making Chocolate Banana Ice Cream:
1) Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer about 30 minutes before preparation, in order to slightly soften them.
2) Place the raw cacao powder, water and honey into your Vitamix or other good strong blender and blend until well-mixed.
3) Add the frozen bananas and blend until smooth. You may have to stop the blender a couple of times and stir the mixture if it becomes stuck in the blades.
Once it reaches a very creamy and smooth consistency, either eat immediately or chill in your freezer for an hour.
